Last month BCC Software connected with many of our customers, partners, and industry contacts at the Xploration 2015 conference in Orlando. In addition to meeting people at the booth, President Chris Lien joined colleagues from different areas of the industry on the “You’ve Got Mail: Is Direct Mail Making a Comeback?” panel. During that discussion panelists representing different channels in the direct customer communications world agreed: print and mail is a vital part of the mix. Marketers need to focus on the right way to use direct mail and electronic communication together. The right combination of high touch and high tech is the path forward.
Integration and workflow optimization was another hot topic. Many that we spoke with opened the conversation by asking what capability was available to integrate postal preparation and data quality into their existing workflow. We were pleased to share our flexible options, but the real eye opener for people we spoke with was the ability of our professional services and support teams to collaborate with them to go beyond software and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
