Additional Information on Upcoming Seamless Acceptance Incentive
Home / Additional Information on Upcoming Seamless Acceptance Incentive
The USPS® offered further insight into the proposed incentive around Seamless Acceptance that was discussed last month. In addition to being approved by the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC), there was clarifying information given on who qualifies for the $0.001 discount incentive. The discount will be usable on every eligible letter and flat of First-Class, Marketing Mail, and Periodicals, as well as BPM flats, and will start January 24, 2021.
First, in order to get the discount, the eDoc submitter – the company receiving the refund for the mailing – must be using the Electronic Payment System, or EPS. The permit receiving the refund must be linked to an Enterprise Payment Account (EPA) and be enrolled in PostalOne!®. Enrollment in the promotion begins in PostalOne! on January 10, 2021, and there is currently no end date for the Seamless Acceptance Initiative.
Secondly, the permit holder – the company paying for the mailing – does not need to be using EPS for the eDoc submitter to claim the incentive.
For more information regarding the Seamless Acceptance incentive, the USPS has compiled a list of FAQs that are available on the PostalPro website.
