BCC Software Announces Completion of SOC 2 Type 2 Examination
Independent Review Confirms Customer Data is Handled in a Safe and Secure Environment
BCC Software LLC, a premium provider of address quality, postal software, and data-based solutions, is pleased to announce that the company has successfully completed a SOC 2® Type 2 examination. The SOC 2 examination is a designated and accepted method for users to obtain a level of assurance regarding an organization’s internal security and confidentiality.

The examination was performed by an independent auditing firm, Quasar Associates. They evaluated BCC Software’s entity level controls as well as the platform used to process the vast majority of the thousands of customer-supplied files each day. The examination was conducted in accordance with attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, focusing on the trust service criteria with the security and confidentiality principles base set forth in their guide to Reporting on Controls at a Service Organization Relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, or Privacy (SOC 2). The SOC 2, Type 2 report was issued on December 22, 2018.
