On Tuesday April 2, the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee (HSGAC) will hold a hearing to consider the following nominations to be named as Governors of the U.S. Postal Service.
- Ron A. Bloom, of New York, to be a Governor of the United States Postal Service for a term expiring December 8, 2020
- Roman Martinez IV, of Florida, to be a Governor of the United States Postal Service for a term expiring December 8, 2024
If both nominees are confirmed, the USPS Board of Governors will have its first quorum since 2014. Subsequently, the Board will be able to dissolve the status of Temporary Emergency Committee.
