Scott Waschitz

Scott Waschitz joined BCC Software on June 22, 2026, as Sr. Director of IT, overseeing IT, Enterprise Services, and Compliance. Scott will help advance BCC’s technology strategy, strengthen operations, and drive continuous improvement. Scott grew up in the rural Catskill Mountains, where a hands-on approach to fixing, building, and troubleshooting sparked a lifelong passion for technology. That curiosity evolved from a childhood Commodore 64 into building networks and running bulletin board systems, and eventually founding an early dial-up Internet Service Provider from his Binghamton University dorm room.

Throughout his career, Scott has led technology, operations, and strategy across organizations ranging from small businesses to global media enterprises and enterprise software companies. He is recognized for driving meaningful change and building high-performing teams around shared goals. Scott relocated to Webster, NY in 2005 and lives there with his wife, son, and dog. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the Finger Lakes, traveling with his family, cooking, and sharing his passions for retro gaming, retro computing, and all things Disney.
