Reach the same audience, together

Some partnerships are not about a transaction. Strategic Partners are organizations working in the industries we serve, where the value is a shared audience, a joint point of view, and campaigns that carry both names.

Who this is for?

Strategic Marketing Partners serve the same people we do, from a different angle. There is no product overlap to manage and no reseller relationship to administer. This relationship serves as a mutual marketing and cross-promotional relationship where both organizations benefit from incorporation into each other’s marketing programs.

Industry associations and councils

Organizations representing mailers, printers, nonprofit mailers, in plant operations, and postal customer councils.

Complementary technology and service brands

Companies serving mail, print, and direct marketing operations in areas we do not compete in, from paper and substrates to logistics and creative services.

Industry publishers, events, and research organizations

Media properties and conference producers with a defined audience of mail and print professionals.

Data and marketing platforms

Organizations serving the same marketing operations teams that process direct mail, where the combined story is stronger than either channel alone.

Advocacy and standards bodies

Groups shaping postal policy and delivery technology standards, where joint education serves the whole industry.

What we do together

Joint webinars
Co-hosted sessions promoted to both audiences, with registrations shared under an agreed data arrangement.
Co-branded content
Research reports, white papers, eBooks, and guides carrying both names, distributed by both parties.
Event collaboration
Shared presence at appropriate conferences, the National Postal Forum, and other industry events, including joint sessions and booth arrangements.
Campaign partnerships
Coordinated multi-channel campaigns built around a shared theme, such as a rate case, a USPS promotion window, or a regulatory change.
Newsletter and audience exchange
Placement in each other newsletters and content channels on an agreed schedule.
Speaking and thought leadership
Our industry affairs team speaks on postal policy, rate cases, and mail quality. Partner subject matter experts appear in our channels in return.
Original research
Highest-performing asset
Joint surveys of a shared audience, published under both names, which is consistently the highest-performing asset in this category.

Why partner with BCC Software

An audience that is difficult to reach any other way

More than 5,000 customer organizations, plus an opt-in industry audience that follows our rate case analysis and regulatory guidance because they need it to do their jobs.

Credibility in postal policy

BCC Software holds board and leadership positions in industry organizations including DTAC and PostCom, participates in MTAC, and works directly with the USPS. A joint point of view carries weight.

A real event platform

InfoXchange is our annual customer conference and puts partners in a room with active mail operations decision makers.

Marketing that gets executed

Our team produces the assets, runs the promotion, and reports the results. Partnership plans do not sit unexecuted.

Flexible commitment

Contribution can be budget, reciprocal in-kind activity, or a combination. Two organizations with equivalent audiences can partner without money changing hands.

How a strategic partnership starts

1

Propose

Tell us who your audience is, how large it is, and what you think the joint story is. A specific idea beats a general expression of interest.

2

Assess fit

We look at audience overlap, brand alignment, and whether there is genuine complementary value rather than a straight audience trade.

3

Build the plan

Both marketing teams agree the annual activity calendar, the commitment level, the lead handling arrangement, and how success will be measured.

4

Execute and review

Activity runs to the calendar. We report against it quarterly and adjust the plan for the following year based on what worked.

What makes a partnership work

A defined, reachable audience. We need to know who your audience is and be able to reach them. Scale matters less than definition.

Something to say together. The best partnerships come from a shared problem the audience actually has, not from two logos on a slide.

Execution capacity. Someone on your side needs to own delivery. Most partnerships that fail do so because nobody was accountable for the calendar.

Agreement on data. How leads are captured, shared, and used has to be settled before the first joint activity, not after it.

Brand alignment. We work in a regulated space and are careful about what our name appears next to.
