Infigo and BCC Software

Address cleansing, USPS mail preparation, and real-time postage pricing, built directly into the web-to-print ordering journey. Print providers sell direct mail as a storefront product without anyone touching a mailing list.

Bad addresses cost money twice

Once in print and postage on mail that never arrives, and again in the hours a team spends cleaning lists by hand before a job can go to press.

For a print provider selling direct mail through a storefront, that second cost is the one that limits growth. Every order that needs list preparation becomes a phone call, an export to an external mail preparation bureau, a wait, and a conversation with the customer about which addresses failed.

The storefront stops being self-service, and direct mail stops being a product the customer can simply buy.

What the integration does

The integration connects the Infigo web-to-print platform to BCC Architect REACH, so address cleansing and mail preparation happen where the order is already being placed.

The customer uploads their mailing list and picks a mailing type. Before the job is saved, every address is standardized against the USPS database, given a ZIP+4 and a delivery point barcode, checked against the real delivery point, and grouped into the trays and pallets the USPS wants, so each piece earns its group rate.

The corrected addresses replace the uploaded ones, so artwork merges against clean data and accurate barcodes. The per-piece postage calculated by BCC Software is written onto the product, so the cart shows print plus postage rather than print alone. No second piece of software, and no sending the job to an external mail preparation bureau.

Four things this changes

Fewer undeliverable pieces

CASS and NCOA certified validation corrects every address before the job saves, so artwork merges against the certified file rather than the uploaded one.

Postage priced before checkout

BCC Software prices every piece and Infigo writes it onto the order, so the cart shows print plus postage and nobody absorbs a difference later.

Nobody handles the list

No export to an external mail preparation bureau and no chasing bad addresses. The customer sees which records failed, and why, before the order is placed.

Sell direct mail as a storefront product

The customer uploads, picks a mailing type, and checks out, with no phone call and no wait while a team prepares the data.

What it saved on one real list

A 2,010 record mailing list that had previously been sent as First Class single-piece mail was cleaned and prepared as Marketing Mail automation at the point of order.

The saving comes from the preparation itself. Standardizing the addresses, adding ZIP+4 and delivery point barcodes, and grouping the pieces into compliant trays and pallets is what moves the mailing into an automation rate it did not previously qualify for. That work happens at the point of order rather than after it.

How the order journey works

In The Storefront
Upload the list. The customer drops their raw mailing list into MegaEdit. Column names do not have to match anything. The storefront asks which row is the header row and maps their columns onto the postal fields.
In BCC Architect Reach
Clean and prepare the mail. Addresses are standardized against USPS data, with ZIP+4 and delivery point barcodes added. The list is prepared for mailing, grouped into trays and pallets, and priced per piece.
Back in Infigo
Review and decide. Ready to mail, not deliverable, and deliverable but flagged, alongside postage per piece and an estimated total, with CSV and PDF downloads.
At Checkout
Preview and order. Cleaned data appears in the live preview and postage is already in the cart, priced per record.
