In response to your feedback, we have just released two enhancements designed to improve your workflow within BCC Mail Manager.

Better Excel Support

Over the years, we have heard from many of you about your desire to have better native support for Excel files. Thanks to your feedback, BCC Mail Manager bulk mail software now supports a new file type called “MS Excel (xlx/xlsx)” that has all new native functionality for Excel files (through Excel 2007). This resolves nearly a dozen unique change requests related to this file type. You can now see files exported in your windows explorer preview window, and can avoid error messages or opening and resaving files. The older file types still remain in place, to ensure a smooth transition period to the new file type and to preserve automation workflows using the older file types.

Enhanced Index Support in Taskmaster

Managing indexes can be a real challenge in the creation of automation workflows. We have heard this reported through customers and through our own Professional Services team.  As a result of reviewing your suggestions and requests, we have implemented the ability to add, delete, and modify indexes in any Taskmaster script.  Not only will this enable you to modify these items on the fly in automation workflows, but it will also simplify the management of associated templates – as indexes will no longer have to be managed with the template to be used with Taskmaster.

I hope you find these new updates meet your needs and improve your overall workflow. If you have suggestions related to these recent updates or any of the features within BCC Mail Manager, including the CASS processing or PAVE software, you can send those to me directly at mitch@bccsoftware.com or mention them to support anytime.
